Crohn’s disease
Crohn’s disease is a chronic illness involving the inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract. This inflammation can occur anywhere along the gastrointestinal tract, from mouth to anus. The symptoms of Crohn’s disease include stomach pain, diarrhea, rectal bleeding, weight loss and nausea. It is believed that genetic, environmental and microbial factors are responsible for the development of disease however no exact cause is known.
